The proposed Hotel & Apartment project resulted from the financial feasibility study to create a new Commercial Development adjacent to the proposed New Water Themed Park at Medini.
The proposal focused on the need to sell the Serviced Apartments to help finance the Hotel Project using the same common facilities. The Project did not proceed as the Client was not fully convinced that the apartments could be sold at the required prices to finance a hotel in Medini where there was little activity. Most projects were government-funded and there were few private developers involved. In any case, there was insufficient activity or population to sustain the proposed development at that period of time.
